Birth Doula Fees
  • 2 prenatal meetings
  • Attendance at your birth
  • 2 postpartum visit
1st meeting: getting to know you-at this meeting I will focus on your health history, what you want to learn, maintaining optimal health, your hopes and dreams for this birth, your concerns.
2nd meeting: I will cover labour and birth, from what labour looks, feels, and sounds like, to when to go to the hospital, to how to cope with the sensations of labour, to dealing with hospital protocols.
Attendance at your birth: I am available for you from the time you request my presence until you have birthed.
A postpartum follow up meeting within a week of your baby's birth, in order to ensure you are healing, weathering the transition into parenthood comfortably, and that breastfeeding is going well-I can provide resources when necessary
phone and email support is available to you according to your needs-you will arrange with me when it is a good time for both of you to communicate.

Supporting Labor at Home (only) $300
 
Often times an expecting parent or couple doesn't know when is the right time to go to the hospital. I can labor with you at home and let you know when is the best time to go to the hospital.


Thinking of Cost: My fees are based on ability to pay and payment plans or alternative recompense is negotiable.
